I just noticed there are link on one of my profiles that require paid subscriptions to view sources. I had sources already on this profile.

they lead to this site. unwanted links soon to be deleted.

does anyone get these?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with links to sites that require paid subscriptions. Like Doug says, it's better to have complete citations, but something is better than nothing.

Looking at the profile and it was marked as Unsourced and I did not see that any sources were removed, just a lot of work improving the profile. I could wish for complete source citations rather than just links but nothing removed. Also keep in mind that WikiTree is a collaborative site.

So, did whomever add these french links also remove your sources? That is NOT right.

New sources can be added to the profiles, but the old sources should NOT be removed.

If I come across any profiles that have Ancestry only sources, I make sure to add free Family Search sources but I do not removed the original Ancestry sources.

When I created the profile I used ancestry links to get the profiles up and running than I add sources as I find them. I only add sourced links. the profile and that of husband should of had a druins doc  associated with them. Most of my docs are not downloaded and I have to use ancestry to access them. I use photos of the docs for now until I can find the links to the source.
