I am seeking information on sources, not trying to hitchhike on what you are doing.  I will do the grunt work, but need direction and think my situation fits with yours re. the Danish/German location of birth and date of emmigration.  Also, I can find no language translation for Palmer in either Danish or German.

I got a response back (took a few days) from  Kirchenkreis Rantzau - Münsterdorf,   Church Kreisarchiv , Steenkamp 6 , 25563 Wrist , Tel .: 04821/4070 1435 Email: kkarchiv@kk-rm.de Homepage : www.kk-rm.de

saying they have found HIndrich Pingel's birth certificate, Parents death certs. Cost is € 64.50. Hope this helps.
