Hi all;

Great information.

Are you aware there is a Dutch Roots sub project called Portal World-The Netherlands?

It is a Project where we all work on creating a Portal or place for members from all over the World with 'Dutch Roots,' or without the 'Roots' but interested in the Netherlands, where they can find everything that's helpful, fun or interesting, related to the Netherlands, assistance with Dutch Archives, translations of standard record texts, explanations of how to work on Dutch Profiles; and of course everything else you would like to see added or add yourself here or at one of the Country pages. The contents of each Portal is of course determined by the the participants, so you can add whatever you feel might be helpful, fun or interesting, you can collaborate and communicate through posts or use G2G to iron out any differences.

Currently we have 15 portals for various countries around the world.

I looked at some of the sources mentioned above and from what I saw the information would be perfect for various portals we have.

If you are interested in helping or just curious our Project can be found at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Portal_World-The_Netherlands.
