Do you know of an Alexander Wood in your ancestry, born in Brechin Scotland, 20 May 1815

I am trying to find relatives of Alexander Wood of Brechin, Scotland born 20 May 1815. He is my Gr2 Grandfather.

Hi David. It might instead be easier to do one or more of the following:

1) Spruce up Alexander’s profile ( https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wood-24439 for those who are reading this) and then post a G2G post about him. The most important things for this are pictures, lots of sources, and a nice/long bio.

2) Make profiles for his other children, siblings, grandchildren, great grandchildren, et cetera that you know of, since that will come up on search engines. Following the guidelines I said above in 1 would be helpful for this, but even just properly sourced profiles go a long way.

3) PM the profile manager for Brenda’s profile. I’m not entirely sure where you got the idea that she is related (Wood is a very common name) but if you have a hunch you may as well say something. Profile managers don’t get notified that their profile was put on G2G.

Brenda's gotta be an "unknown" of some kind. Not a bit of data on her profile and no relationships. No way to know how she might be related to anyone.
