Age 89 yrs Emily passed away at the home of her son David's with whom she had been living. "She was one of the oldest & most beloved citizens of her community." Emily was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church for many years. Rev S.E. Macomson officiated her funeral with a large crowd in attendence.

Wife of Jeffery Beck, married in 1870, preceded her in death.
Emily was the mother of Keith Beck & Alice Certain of Seneca, SC, Mary E Stone & David Beck of Carnesville.
Emily also leaves a sister, Mary E. Pitts of Seneca, SC.
