Disproven existence notice - Marcilly/de Hauteclair [closed]

+10 votes

In accordance with the WikiTree policy on Disproven Existence, I am proposing that the following profiles be marked with the Disproven Existence badge and disconnected from all other profiles, after one week.

- Marie de Mercilly

- Charlotte Couillaud de Hauteclair

These two profiles (daughter and mother) are part of the genealogy fabricated by Robert de Roquebrune for Philibert Couillaud dit Rocbrune. There are more profiles affected by this fabrication, but they can all be tied to a real person, except Charlotte and Marie. There is more information on both profiles and in the free-space page.

See also the G2G thread discussing the disconnection of Philibert Couillaud.

(Also tagged euroaristo because these two profiles represent fake nobles with suggested connections to several French aristocratic families).

WikiTree profile: Marie-Bernard de Marcilly
closed with the note: Both profiles moved to Disproven after 8 days.

Thank you Isabelle, one more funky link gone.  For once he wasn't among my ancestors.  wink

Thanks Isabelle - marking them as disproven and disconnecting them sounds like a great result to me.
