Now I'm receiving long horrible emails from the manager of profile. Calling himself Servant of Jesus and calling me "Nasty Hag", "You sneaky lieing slime and daughter of satan" There is lots more long emails

I just like researching and helping and always add sources.

I would never want to upset anyone.

I hope. Helen, that you saved those emails to forward them to the leadership. That kind of response is uncalled for. (I got one before, but not quite that nasty.) Don’t let it get to you.

I added the tag leaders to your question and hopefully, more of the leaders will see it, I'm just on my way to work.

So sorry that you got those messages trying to help the community, most of us really are a friendly bunch working towards the same goal.

Even people who ar grumpy when someone "touches their profiles" - which they shouldn't be - usually express their grumpiness within the bounds of politeness. What you received sounds simply horrible!

Sorry to hear of this. It sounds as though you've encountered a very disturbed individual and I hope it doesn't deter you from collaborating.

On a lighter note though, have you asked for sources to support the 'daughter of Satan' claim?

Hope you have reported this person to the powers that be. WikiTree is supposed to be a co-operative and friendly place. The reaction you received is totally out of line, and frankly, abusive.
