I just adopted this profile of John Robbins (b. ca. 1655?), and I marked his parents as uncertain since the existence of Nathaniel Robbins has been questioned.
I am beginning to wonder if he is the John Robbins (Robbins-2547) born in 1640 (son of Richard Robbins). Both seem to have died at Harwich in (or after 1717). But that would have made him 40 years old when he married Sarah Childs. Perhaps she was a second wife, or he was just slower than most to marry.
