Alda apparently is either an alternate spelling, transcription error, or a nickname. The master profile clearly has an error on the date of birth, however. so this is not the end of the line.

Presumably the Latin affects the understanding of the names; so this is Visitations is all we know to a certainty about the immediate family (see also more in the pedigree, from the Visistations page):

Based on a profile for one of the sons that I saw, I think there's possibly a duplicate somewhere in there, as he was shown without a mother - but Geoffrey is a differnent father, too: Despenser-41 v.  Despencer-218
