How to merge Pender-338, the father of Warrington, my Grand father?

Merging is what happens when we come across duplicate profiles for the same person. I do not see an additional profile for your grandfather, and I see that he is already connected to your branch. I also see that you have an unknown father connected to him. I am going to go out on a limb (pardon the pun) here and guess that you want to find his ancestors so that you can connect him to the larger tree.

This record would seem to indicate that his mother's name was Ivanda, however, later records indicate that it was most likely Lorinda.

Hew was the son of William Pender and Lorinda ( Ivanda?) Chamberlain.
