Who were the parents and 1st wife of Jonathan Hulett?

I have a passed down family tree which says that the father of Jonathan Hulett was Thomas HulettFamilySearch says that also, but I can't find any sources that support that.  It certainly seems likely.  They both lived in Dorset, Vermont and are buried in the Tabor cemetery in neighboring Mt. Tabor.  But it looks like there were a bunch of Hulett familes in the area at that time.

The same passed down family tree (and also FamilySearch) say that Jonathan's first wife was Matilda Harrington, daughter of Silas Harrington. I haven't found any sources at all for Matilda.

I'm not an Ancestry.com member, but I did try to research this on Ancestry a while back using the local public library's membership.  I think all I found was other unsourced trees.

Olive (Hulett) Griffith was my great-great-great-grandmother.  She was the daughter of Jonathan Hulett (and possibly the above mentioned Matilda Harrington).  That relationship was unsourced as well, but I found Jonathan in the 1870 census, 89 years old and a widower (twice), living with his grandson Gardner (Olive's son) and Gardner's wife Ella, great granddaughter Olive (Gardner's niece) and her husband Charles Cady, as well as Gardner's two children.  Olive gave birth to Jonathan's first great-great grandchild the following year but by that time she and her husband were no longer living at her uncle's house.  Jonathan died in 1872 at age 93.

Thanks for any leads you can find.  I'm trying to reconstruct my tree using sources as much as I can.

Thanks,

Ben Griffith

Named in will...

Grandson John Marcellus Griffith

James Brock a nephew of my wife Betsey Hulett

Grandson Gardner Fayette Griffith

Son in law John T Griffith and his daughter Maria Olive

Executor John T Griffith

Signed 15 Jan 1872

Thanks Kay!

I'll look at the will next time I'm at the library.  It looks as though Olive may have been his only child, or at least the only one with surviving children, since everyone named (except his nephew) is her family.

John T. was Olive's husband, and John M., Gardner, and Mariah were their three surviving children.  John M. was my great-great-grandfather, and the first surveyor of Amador County, CA.  Gardner was the grandfather of Bill Wilson, the founder of AA.

Thanks again,
Ben
