W A Mccall married Elizabeth Thompson in 1875 in Santa Rosa County Fl. Then Elizabeth married William Malone in 1877 in Santa Rosa County Fl and W A Mccall has been a dead end ever sense. It was told to me that Elizabeth and Ella went to La with W A Mccall. Elizabeth did not like it and came back to fl and married the Malone. This is all I know of W A Mccall. Would love to be able to know more of him. Thanks

Wish I knew more on my Mccall. All I know is that his name was W A Mccall and he married my great grandmother Elizabeth Thompson in 1875 in santa Rosa County Fl. My grandmother was named Ella Mccall. She was born 1876 in santa Rosa County  Fl. The onlky story I know of my Mccall is what I have entered before. My halp sister told this to me before she died about 10 yrs ago. She said that W A Mccall, Elizabeth and my grandmother went to Louisiana when Ella was very small. Elizabeth came back to Fl as she did not like Louisiana. She then married William Malone in 1877 in Santa Rosa County Fl. As I was growing up as a kid, I always thought my grandmother Ella was a Malone. We did not see them much in Fl and all our grandparents died before we were born except for Ella. She died in 1947 in Mobile Al. Records show that Ella must have kept her birth name as when she married my grandfather Jesse taylor Jernigan in Santa Rosa County, Fl in 1892 she married him as Ella Mccall. That is how I began to question where the Mccall name came from and my sister told me the story of our Mccalls. She did not know much either. Also I have since found out that Elizabeth Thompson Mccall Malone's father was Lofton Thonpson and he was in the confederate Army in Louisian, so I wonder if maybe that is why they went to La. Lofton Thompson came back to Santa Rosa(Milton) Fl and lived there until he died. This Mccall is such a mystery to me. I am sure he remarried also, but it is like he just vanished after they went to La. Thanks for any help you may give.

Yes, Sharon, I would love for you to look up my Mccall on your line. He was W A Mccall and I am guessing he was probably born about 1840's. He married my great grandmother Elizabeth Thompson Mccall in 1875 in Santa Rosa County, Fl. This all I know of him, so he is a real mystery. My grandmother was Ella Mccall born 1876 in santa Rosa County Fl.Thanks, Jenny
