English Springs

Question

I am trying to find my decendants from the Gravely area of England, my GGGGrandfather was born in the area around 1832, married a girl called Anne Linford.

James Father was William Spring and his Mother was Hannah (Nee Smith) and trying to go back in time from William seems fruitless in regards to no dates of birth etc, can someone please help??

Have you tried searching on FamilySearch.org using the batch numbers for the Gravely parish (below) ?  As you can see the coverage of that parish stretched to an earlier period than that you refer to so there is a good chance of success if the families stayed in the area.
