Kansas did not report any records till after 1900.Before that people

voluntarily reported. You may look at Indian sources in the area.
Wayne thanks for the response. William Clark Superintendent Indian Affairs St. Louis from 1813-1838. The policy during the 1800's providing the disposition of Indian lands and administration of Indian claims see Kansas Historical society. William Clark (Corps of Discovery) was the federal representative to Indians in the West. William Alley was chosen one of the party to remove Kickapoo & Potawatomi from Indiana to Kansas Territory 1830-1831? After arrival to Kansas, Alley dispersed the food supplies but I haven't found any real solid information on him.
I read that he might be from Kentucky, his name is also mixed in with John Dougherty Indian agent. Died Ks. Okla. Neb. Thanks for responding.
