any objection to Margaretha Van Rosendaal as LNAB, b. 1540 in Netherlands?

This is the mother of the New Netherland Kool settler.

I think the better choice between our current alternatives is

Margaretha Van Rosendaal. Our other choice is Van Rosendall, which just seems to be more Americanized to me.
I don't see that she has a father attached, so no help on any better name there. But if we find a better name later, and documents, we can always change it. But for now I would simply like to us the name above as the primary, merge the two profiles, and then PPP the above profile and add it to the NNS category, as Ancestor.
We need to get her merged because she is holding up merge of the son and later descendants.
So, if no objection or only minimal response, I would like to proceed as above, and close this G2G in one week, on April 4, 2014.

I agree. Until such time as her real LNAB (if such an occasion should arrive) Van Rosendaal will have to do.

Hi Steven,

the 'v' in 'van' should be small in stead of capitalized. That's how it works in Dutch name prefixes.
Rosendaal is good I think, it is a town in the Netherlands and also a summer residence near Utrecht. A lot of people in tyhe Netherlands are called van Roosenaal.
