Looking to prove Nathan DeWolf's parents  I would love it to be Josiah and Anna Waterman but have no proof. He is never listed in their listing of children.I realize that the Yale record wrote to Lyme to ascertain his parentage 100 years later when compiling their books. The responder guessed due to the fact that Nathan attended

Yale and Joiah and Anna had a son who attended three years later.

If Michael has  a birth record or other "proof"  I woule love to know it.

Also Nathan's male relative has done a DNA test.

After reading page 134 of https://archive.org/stream/cu31924079745950#page/n165/mode/2up multiple times, I am left with the impression that Nathan is not the son of Josiah and Anna.

p. 139 has more details on Nathan.

I've edited the biography for Nathan DeWolf and added the source for my profile, "DeWolf Family History," by Rev. Darrell and Sallyann Joiner, 2001.

I have found no primary documentation that proves Nathan DeWolf's parentage, nor any that contradicts what is now in the profile.

I've added the {{DateGuess}} category to the Biography.
