Hi Myra and welcome!

First you have to complete your membership so that you can add family members.  Please add the tag 'greeters' to your question, and that will help get someone to guide you through the process.

Bessie has some children on her profile.  Is one of them your grandparent?  You might have to create profiles for your parents, and possibly a grandparent, and then you can connect the grandparent to Bessie as Bessie's child.

Before you can begin adding and connecting your family to our shared tree you will need to complete the process to become a full member of WikiTree. 

Click here to go to your Home page so that you may add tags and volunteer to add to our tree.

Once you have done that, a greeter will be along to confirm your membership and provide a link to our how-to pages for new members.
