I have a copy of the Burial Record From St Andrews Church in New Carlisle, PQ dated 1863 that reads partially as follows:

"Samuel Richards of Cox Township Farmer, a native of Devonshire England. Died on the Twenty-nineth day of April aged over seventy Years".

This man was my G.G. Paternal Grandfather. I am looking on any information tying him back to family in Devonshire. My information leads me to believe he was born in 1799, but could be wrong...Wife Name Margaret Logan Born abt 1824 ( Possibly in Quebec)
I have the record of Their Marriage in Restigouche County New Brunswick, Canada on 21 Oct 1846.

They had 10 Children, all born in Bonaventure PQ between 1847 and 1862 ( I have a copy of  the church records of most of the childrens Baptisms):

Thomas b:06 Jun 1849 d:19 May 1936 in Arlington Washington

I am aware of the Samuel to who you are refering. Unfortunately, after much research I have concluded that this is not the same Samuel that I am seeking.
