I'd like to receive an email, when merges I've proposed are completed

I know that some of the merges I've proposed are getting done, because I've been checking back. It would be a lot easier, if I got an email, when a merge was completed. I think I've gotten emails for the ones I'm listed on the profiles, but not the others.

I have the same experience, Anne -- no notice, have to check the Pending Merges page.  All other emails from WikiTree coming through just fine, nothing caught in spam folder.

Nan, as I note below in the comments on Lauren's answer, you should get a notice when a merge you proposed is completed. There could be some bug here if you're not getting them.

I hope someone can figure it out, because that would save me time I spend going back to check the merge status.

You should get an email for a completed merge - I did today for 2 merges I proposed.  Are you getting other emails from wiki tree?  Could they be getting caught in your spam folder?

Hmm??? I'm getting emails from wiki-tree, in fact I get emails about the rejected merges and the postponed merges, but not the accepted ones.
Well, other than spam folder, can't really say why you are not getting notifications.  Completed merges will show up in the activity feed on your navigation home page and you can also check the status of merges using the "find" pull down menu top right.
The activity feed on my navigation home page only shows activity for people in my watchlist, not other people I have proposed merges for.

Checking the pull down "find pending merges" menu, only works because the merges are no longer there. So I have to double check the whole list to see who's disappeared from my pending merges proposed list.

It would be a lot easier to get an email, or some other kind of notification.
Hi Anne. As Lauren says, you should get an e-mail when a merge you proposed is completed, postponed, or rejected. I'm not sure why you're not receiving them. If you find a specific example, we might be able to investigate further. (Though, I realize that's hard if you're not on the Watchlist.)

Examples no email recd. after merge: last night

21:04: You proposed a merge of Morgan-3267 and Morgan-280 with a comment.

21:33: Vic Watt edited the data for Margaret Hibbard. (Merged Morgan-3267 into Morgan-280) [Thank Vic for this]

 & On the third

13:00: You proposed a merge of Morgan-6820 and Morgan-403.

22:15: Rita Davis edited the data for Watin Morgan. (Merged Morgan-6820 into Morgan-403)

Hi Anne. It does seem like you should have received a confirmation for those. Hmmm. You definitely searched your spam filter? If so there is something we need to investigate further.
I have checked my Spam box. There's nothing there. It says it deletes after 30 days, but it's not been 30 days.
