Question

Gisburn(e) Yorkshire Wilkinson family  (also Bradford, West Yorkshire)- if you can link to them, we should talk. Many Christopher and John Wilkinsons in my ancestry. The family eventually moved to Maryland's Eastern Shore in the United States.

There were two Christopher Wilkinsons from Yorkshire, so be careful not to get them mixed up. One went to the Northern U.S. (yours) and one went to South Carolina (mine). They all have the same family names (Christopher, Joseph, John), and are believed to have been related, but no link has been found so far.

I just joined here and don't have my GEDCOMS handy, as I gave up my genealogy some years ago, and must dig everything up again. If you find Wilkinsons from SC, they more than likely are not yours.
