Who are the parents of Patrick Reilly (1821-1884) born in Ireland and Lived in Albany NY

I am working on my family's geneology and Patrick Reilly is the farthest I've gotten with my research and I am wondering if anyone knows who his parents were. Patrick Reilly was born in Ireland (not sure where) in March 1821 or so and died 3 Jan 1884 in Albany, NY. He was married to Julia Lynch (born abt 1835 or so) in Canada. Their children: Charles (b. 1851), William (b. 1860), Annie (b. 1861), Henry Patrick (b. 1864), John J. (b. 1866 and my ancestor), and Julia (b. 1872). If you have any information on him or his parents, I would greatly love to know as this project has been for my grandfather who has always wanted to know his family background. Thank you.

If they were married in Canada, there is a good chance that their marriage record will have their parents' names and maybe even their county of origin in Ireland. The church records (Drouin Collection) is where to look. I'm pretty sure they are at familysearch, I know they are at ancestry.com, and good genealogy libraries will have them on film. One catch: a lot of them are in French. But most of it is "boilerplate", standardized phrasing, and the names are easy to pick out. Use Google translate for the dates, etc.

As usual, always work backward from what you know, and look everywhere: every child's birth, etc.. And look for siblings of Patrick and Julia also. If you find the siblings' parents, you find the parents!
