Have you registered for the Scan-a-Thon yet? [closed]

Question

In January we will have our first annual 72-hour scanning marathon, to parallel our fun and successful annual Source-a-Thons and Spring Clean-a-Thons.

Our mission: to scan and share all those old family photos and other items we've been meaning to get to!

The party starts Friday morning, January 11, at 8 AM (ET) and runs until Monday, January 14, at 8 AM (ET). (Eastern Standard Time is GMT -5.) We're encouraging genealogists from all over the world to participate at the same time.

Will you join us?

To register, just click the ANSWER button and say "Sign me up!" or whatever and include a few words about your location or genealogical interests.  

If you're already part of a team from a previous challenge and want to stay on it, mention that. Not all teams are available for the Scan-a-Thon so you may not end up on the same one. The current teams are listed here. More may be added.

We are a group that works in our own way. If you like to forge ahead at full speed to get something on each profile, that is great. If you like to work on one and make it as loved and beautiful as possible before moving on, feel free and show that profile all the love you can. We do not care if you wish to work in one specific place or all over the world. One hour or most of the weekend is fine as long as you are not putting yourself or someone else in harms way. Just do it your way and lets all have fun.

ooh...Sign me up! I VOW to scan in a bunch of great photos, some of the death certificates and marriage licenses I have searched out, and even a will or two. I guess my photos/info are from such diverse areas, I'll just go it alone this time. I don't really seem to "fit" on any one particular team. (That's what a girl with Dixie roots gets for marrying a New Englander...)
