Mason Name Study update

Hello Mason Researchers!

Up until now, I have been categorizing the Mason Name Study based on birth location. It has crossed my mind enough times to warrant a change that categorizing based on any recorded location would better serve the purpose of connecting, especially in migratory branches. So I have begun implementing this. If a county level location does not exist within the Mason Name Study and you are not comfortable creating it, please leave a message on the name study page with the Wiki ID of the profile and the location category you need.

I hope the Mason Name Study is helpful to anyone researching the surname. If you haven't already, please check out the page, especially the source library. Please add to it if you have helpful Mason resources to share.

I apologize for the lack of DNA study, as I have yet to explore this aspect  of genealogy. If anyone has interest in branching the name study out in this direction, please let me know.

The only question I have is: Are there any suggestions researchers would like to see happen in the Mason name study?

Peleg Sanford Mason born 1720 married Mary Stanton and had a daughter Ann Mason in 1743 at Stonington, New London, CT who married Joel Marsh in Lebanon, New London, CT in 1770.

Peleg Sanford Mason is my 5th great grandfather.
