Why can't I find my grandparents name on this site and my mother

Maybe they are not here yet.  Welcome, Kenneth.  Why not create a profile for your mother and your grandparents?  Or give us a bit more detail so we can tell you definitely whether they are already present.

Welcome to WikiTree, Kenneth!

Kenneth, I had to enter several generations of each of my lines before I made the connection to the Shared Tree. Like Herbert said, start by entering your parents, grandparents, etc. Somewhere along the line a connection will be made eventually.
