Dear Mark I'd like to know if you have any information about my g.g.grandfather, James Mackay Sutherland, of St. Vincent, especially his wives and children.

Morning Andrew,

I am thrilled to be in contact with you but need a bit more information. I think you said in your private message that your grandfather was Robert and his grandfather James but I could really do with a bit more information before I can work out which family you are referring to. The 2 main Sutherland families with interests in the West Indies were the Sutherland of Uppat family and the Sutherland of Langwell family. Both had Robert Sutherlands in them.
