Two problems with Thomas Stevens (died 1658, Stamford, Connecticut)?

+1 vote
The profile of Thomas Stevens (Stevens-3396) shows him as the one born in Wiltshire, son of Thomas Stevens and Bridgett Withers.  Is there any proof that he was their son?

Also, It shows him with an eldest son Thomas Jr. (who lived in Massachusetts, and no proof that Thomas of Stow was ever in Connecticut).  Even more problematic is that estate records seem to indicate that Obadiah was actually the eldest son (and no indication of a son named Thomas).
