It would be easier for someone to help if you included any of the following you might know:

Timeframe - Dates/approximate dates of b, m, d.

Names of parents/silbings/spouse/children

Click     edit         or    comment     to the right of your question and fill in any details that might help find the correct Samuel Cook.

Thanks so much for your response and suggestions:

Dorcas H. Cok was born in Marlboro Township, South Carlina aroun 1810?

His firstu twife was Dolly A. (possibly Alexander) not sure if she was from South Carolina or possibly Norh Carolina (since Marlboro is on the state line).

Dorcas Cook then is in the Muscogee County Georga and Wicox, Rusell and Lee Counties area of Alabama.

Not sure  what hapened to DollyA as there are indicatons Dorcas married Cynthia Culpeper Philen in Wilcox County Alabama on 7-25-1856.

Cynthia was preiously married to Manasseh Phelin n Alabama.

Dorcas had a son with ether Dolly or Cynthia;  Samuel Bernard Alexander Cook in 1841. possibly Dolly

Samuel was married to Ada Byron Davis, he served withthe 23r Alabama Infantry Regiment.  His grave lists him as "Dr"

Samuel had a son, Samuel Lewis Cook, who came to South Carolina, late 1800s and married Katie McDonald

I am trying to detemine what happened to Dolly and Cynthia and Samuel Bernard Alexander Cook's h istory.

Thanks for any assistance available

Ron Cook Sr.
