One of the children was my grandmother, Mazie. Her twin sisters name was Asbie Marie but we called her Aunt whap. That is seriously what everyone called her. I never my my grandma's brother I was always told it had been many years since grandma had seen him. My mother is Maryetta. she was Mazie's seventh child. Aunt What had 12 children and Mazie had 15. I would very much like to know who you are. After all your grandfather was my great grandfather.

The following from the W. Virginia Marriage Index gives the date & place of their marriage: (seems a little young to get married based on an 1899 birth date?)

Name: Lewis Hensley
Gender: Male
Spouse's Name: Minnie Browning
Spouse Gender: Female
Marriage Date: 1912
Marriage Place: Mingo, West Virginia, United States

Hello:     My name is Wayne R. Morgan i am a volunteer researcher for Wiki Tree.

Found 2 birth records for a Minnie Browning ( West Virginia Birth Index 1853-1969.

One born Wayne West Virginia 1896.Would been 16 when married.Another born

April 1 1898,Father Jerry Browning,Mother Nancy Browning.14 on marriage.

West Virginia Marriage Index 1785-1971.Minnie Browning marries Lewis Hensley

1912 at Mingo,West Virginia.14-16 yrs old may have been acceptable at the time.

I have researched a lot in Wales & England, back Circa 1200-1600 boys married

abt 14 girls had to be 12,I had a relative back then she married at 12 and died

in childbirth at age 13.Marriage promises could have been made at any age,and

if they married at a early age,as long as both families agreed nothing was said.

1920 Census Louis Hensley and a boarder George Dempsey both are motormen in a coal mine.Shows Minnie 21 born abt 1899,In almost all records

your Lewis is spelled Louis.Have earlier record on family if you want them.

Thanks so much Mr. Morgan...I really thought this would be the hardest part in searching my mothers genealogy. Any info you may want to share with me, I would trully be greatful. The info you provided thus far seems to be my grandparents. Again I thank you and appreciate your help.  The child that was living in the house hold during 1920 census would the name be Charles? If so this is definitely my granny.
I have had two reply's that are calculated geneology. Which is incorect. My hunch is that you Mr. Morgan have the right Louis Hensley. I know you are busy, and run a business. If you ever get a few minutes free...I would be so greatful for any info you have concerning my family. Thank you Marie
