Do we have a tartan for Clan Gordon stickers?

I have collected details for the stickers used on Wikitree for around 20 Scottish clans thus far and apply them on relevant profiles. However I have noticed on some Gordon profiles that rather than a recognised Gordon tartan, the picture used is the Scottish saltire which is clearly inappropriate. Is there a chosen Gordon tartan for Clan Gordon stickers and if so, could some kind soul post the jpg number for it as a reply so I can add it to my notes on Wikitree profiles I use on a daily basis?

Thomas-10705-11.jpg is the closest I can find, but is a multi-part image. I have gone ahead and uploaded one for use: Clan_Gordon.png.

I've had a tartan as a profile image for my great-grandmother for a while.  Isn't it the proper Gordon?

Hi Melanie, I am sure it is great so don't worry. What I was looking for was a Gordon tartan for the Gordon clan sticker as the only stickers I had seen had a saltire which is totally incorrect. If you look at the profile Gordon-8524 you will see what I mean as I have just created the sticker thanks to Steven assisting. All the best

Mark

Hi folks I have now created this sticker using the tartan Steven uploaded and it should be perfect for Gordon clan profiles.

So how is your image different from the one I used which has been on wikitree since 2013?

I have no idea whether it is different. I had looked at hundreds of Gordon profiles without seeing a single clan sticker on them except for those which wrongly displayed the saltire. Since starting to type this reply I have managed to look at both images in separate windows and happily they are the same.
I think the only Gordon using that is mine (and I don't use clan sticker). I'm happy to hear you think it's the same, though, because I was starting to worry I was using the incorrect tartan.  (Couldn't find an image for McCrea, so went with Gordon.)
Thank you, Steven. I found your tartan on the Gordon Space Page - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Clan_Gordon

I will use it to update the Gordon profiles as I have time. The Clan Gordon page was created in the early days of the Scottish Clans Project and I've slowly been adding categories and tartans to each of the other clans I manage. This will make the Gordons more "official."  ;-)  Thanks again.

I have a somewhat different view to all those so far expressed.  I am sure that we all agree that there are multiple Gordon tartans, most with specific uses when first created.  My Inverness born father claimed that the correct one for pictorial and formal occasion dress use is the tartan pictured.  Visit the the Gordon Clan home page at Huntly Castle. and this is the tartan shown.  Now how to create it for use within WT I am unsure, but will attempt to find a way to have it created in WT.https://www.scotsconnection.com/Gordon-Clan-Tartan-Material-and-Fabric-Swatches__p-463.aspx

William Vaughn has been rather prolific regards creation of (seamless) tartan tiles.
