I too would like to know more about Mary and William Lacy or Lacey. Have been searching for information on them for several years attempting to prove or disprove a connection to my sir name line.

Any credible information is greatly appreciated.

Hi Tony, I show that William Lacey was married 3 times.  He 1st married Sarah Johnson Married 1748 she died 1761 and they had Philemon, Lucy, Benjamin, Kiddy and Archer.  2nd marriage to Mary Belle Neetle after 1761-1763 she died 1763? ,  I show a daughter Lucinda born 1763.  3rd marriage to Sarah Overton in 1781 no children.  William died in 1794.  Maybe you came from the 1st marriage with sons Philemon, Benjamin or Archer.  Hope this helps.  Maybe you already have this info.  Don
Thank you Donald, yes I believe Philemon is my line based on available information. You are more than welcome to dive in and help sort it all out if you have the extra time to devote to this line. I certainly would appreciate the help by you or anyone else willing to help.

Here's an Ancestry dot com query page you might be interested in reading. It gives a few clues on books to search for and read.

Hi Tony,  This helps  Maybe Mary Belle Nettle dad was not Abraham but maybe a brother.  Abraham Nettle and Mary McDaniel where not married until 1783, Mary was born around 1741 or earlier.  Could not be her parents.

Also found this page, hope it helps you.

There are a number of profile and duplicate profile surrounding this line that need help. I manage a couple of them and I will take all the help anyone is willing to give to sort out this family line.
