Help with the James Black family that migrated from England to Ontario to USA

Looking for help with my Black Ancestry Line. Grandma Bernice Ann Black married James Henry Wineinger. Her father Charles Steven Black was born in Ontario. His father was a James Black whose wife was Hannah Cunningham. That is all I know for sure. I have photos of these people. Daddy talked of an "Elder" James Black. Supposedly they were traveling Preachers of restoration movement back and forth from Canada to USA. I have a pamphlet/booklet of Harmon Black inscribed to his sister Bernice of his radio sermon transcripts. I'd like to learn more but can not afford Ancestry.com anymore or international connections you have to pay for. How do I prove or disprove which came from where? Dad said from a private nurse to the King in England. My profile is Wineinger-2

A great place to look for free records online is Familysearch. All of their records are free although they do have links to records on other sites that might have a charge as well.
