Looking for a connection between the Missouri and Montana Snuffers [closed]

Good evening! I have hit something of a dead end and am reaching out for help from the WikiTree community. I am searching for the connection between the Missouri Snuffers (my paternal grandfather's family) and the Snuffers in Montana, specifically around Kalispell. My paternal grandfather, Warren D. Snuffer, was born in Amity, MO, in DeKalb county. His father was Ewart Snuffer (Snuffer-60). At some point, he seems to have left my paternal great-grandmother, Lucile (or Lucille) (Lytle) Snuffer. According to family rumblings, he supposedly embezzled money from his employer in Chicago and left the family. Based on photos I was able to track down of my grandfather and  Darwin Snuffer, I am almost certain there is a genetic/family connection. their smiles are nearly identical. However, I can't seem to find any actual links between the two other than the last name. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in advance!

Benjamin Harrison Snuffer, the father of Darwin, was the brother of Thomas P Snuffer, the father of Ewart. Darwin and Ewart were first cousins.
Thank you for this!  :)
You are very welcome. Glad I could help.
Although now I've come across something interesting/confusing. Apparently there are 2 Thomas P. Snuffer's...half brothers....
There isn't a half-brother with the same name. I'm not sure what you're seeing or where. You'll need to be more specific.
