Advice before editing this pre-1700 t'Serclaes profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Marie Madelaine Therese Josephe t'Serclaes. This is what I can add:

  • I am adding profiles for the t'Serclaes ancestors of my wife. These are coming from a book published in 1853, which is a geneaology of the t'Serclaes family, and is referenced below, and in the profiles.

These are the sources I am using:

  • Goethals, Felix-Victor, "Genealogie de la famille de T'Serclaes, extraite du dictionnaire genealogique et heraldique des familles nobles de Belgique" Bruxelles: Polack-Duvivier (1853)

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

I occasionnally use works by Goethals as source when I can't access primary records. Goethals was a reputed historian and genealogist and the t'Serclaes book appears to cite sources.
