Would you like to create a profile for one of the William Penn Fleet passengers?

Not all of the passengers who sailed on the William Penn Fleet ships have profiles yet.  We have started an initiative to add all of the passengers that are at least  recognized by the Welcome Society.

You don't have to be a member of the William Penn and Early Passengers Project but if you want to join, we'd love that too!

What you will need is a pre-1700 certification, a little time, and a desire to create some new profiles.

If you are a connector, there are quite a few passengers on this list (many newly added) who are not yet connected to the bigger tree.  If you would like to connect them, we would love that too!

You can see the list as it stand so far, who's added and who isn't.

If you would like to contribute, I have created an instructions page that should have all of the details you need to successfully help in this effort.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Adding_the_Penn_Fleet_passengers

If you decide to assist in this endeavor, read the two pages linked above, ask questions if you have any.  If you think you have it, when you're ready to start, just shoot me an email that you've started and then start.

thanks in advance for your help!

Please post any questions or contact me by email.

Thomas Paschall, his wife Joanna and children Thomas, William and Mary are listed as not having profiles, but there are already profiles on WikiTree for all except the son Thomas.

Thomas Paschall-71

Joanna Sloper-4

William Paschall-70

Mary Paschall-332

Only Paschall-70 and Paschall-71 have the same profile manager.

None of the profiles have the project mentioned or listed.

Hi Christopher, here is what you want to do:

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Adding_the_Penn_Fleet_passengers#Creating_the_profile

After you enter the name and estimated date of the person's birth, there is a good possibility that you will have a suggestion that of an already existing profile. If you see that the profile has already been added, open the profile and edit it.

Following along the instructions further on, you want to make sure that the profile is sourced, if you manage or follow the profile you can add the Penn Fleet Sticker.

Next, add the ship's category, put on the Penn project box, and add any other applicable categories (needs bio, needs project as profile manager, etc).

And then, be sure to mark that the profiles have been "linked" and they will now appear on the ship's category page.

I suppose I should make profiles for the PEMBERTONs in hopes of seeing whether there is a connection with my line headed by George 1685-1797.(unsatisfactory sources) or Isaiah 1731-1794 , Bush River NC MM. This family has also SC/WV(when it was VA)/OH connections. It looks unlikelyto be the same.  I see lots of hints suggesting movements of Quakers between NC/WV/KY and PA, but most are questionable.
