What evidence supports identifying Wise Hill's wife as Hannah Hamilton?

I descend from Wise Hill through three separate lines. In years of researching, I have found no evidence to support a conclusion that his wife was Hannah Hamilton. Incidentally, he was NOT born on Portsmouth Island, NC. He moved with his family from Northampton County, Virginia to Carteret County, NC in the 1740s.

I found a website called PAroots (pennsylvania local histories). It's free to search various records kept by county. I came across a marriage license for Hannah and (I forget which) Hill in Montgomery County while looking for my great-grandfather James Hill in Franklin County PA. Our Hill family line goes back to Virginia as well. In fact, I've traced Hills back to William Penn's first ships coming in from England. Some are also the original Quakers so you might want to check in Quaker records on the website I mentioned.

I've come across Hannah in several records. If I come across her again I'll make note of the info and send you a link.
