Census Record from North Carolina State Hospital in 1920

When I do a general search for this person, an ancestry record appears stating this person is listed in the North Carolina State Hospital 1920 (referenced in bio sources of profile). Using FamilySearch I cannot seem to find a free version of this document.

Are these records not available on FamilySearch or is it an indexing problem? Where else could I obtain this record for free?

Thanks!

Agree that Laura Faw who was single and worked in the dining room at the hospital and died in 1938 is a different person. After 1899 you need to look for Laura Hanks. According to her husband’s FindAGrave she died in 1908. You might find more by looking for her husband and children. Was he a widower or remarried by the 1910 census?

The record you refer to is under the name Laura Faw and she is listed as 53 years of age.  To me, I question whether it is the same person, as the last name is wrong.  The age is too old by 6 years.  She is listed as single and not married.  Before accepting this as fact, I would send a message to the Find A Grave manager and see if they can take a better look at that headstone to determine if the date is 1908 or 1938.

Here is a link to the Ancestry file.  [https://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=6061&h=10370620&tid=&pid=&usePUB=true&_phsrc=dDR2094&_phstart=successSource 1920 Census for Laura Faw]
