Two Roger Sheldon Profiles Were Merged- Erroneously. OK to Take Them Apart?

There were at least two Roger Sheldons born in the late 16th century: 1. Roger of Monyash/Bakewell and 2. Roger, of Stanton, Staffordshire.

  1. Roger (1) Sheldon married (Unknown) and had four children, all around Bakewell, Darbyshire.
  2. Roger (2) was the father of Gilbert Sheldon, Archbishop of Canterbury. This Roger worked (as a menial servant?) for Gilbert Talbot, 7th Earl of Shrewsbury.

The profiles for the two Rpgers have been merged/conflated and need to be separated.  Any objections?

My understanding is : you can not separate what has been merged.

Solution : create one of the profiles new and put a HUGE BOLD statement at the top of the biography saying DO NOT MERGE.  (Or something.)

Yep, that's the way it needs to be done.  I'm just asking to make sure no one objects.
I think I got it all figured out and corrected, with the kids assigned to the correct father.
