Another picture of Aunt Flo. She sure knows how to dress. And another blouse that I adore.

She has the same smile as she did in the previous picture, and I fell in love with that smile.

If Aunt Flo wa born in 1893, and the first picture was her at 16, then that picture was taken in 1909. The depression was from 1929-1939, so because she is so well dressed, this picture has to be before 1929 or after 1939.

Using those dates it would make her between 36 and 46.  I am guessing that she looks more like 34 or 35, so I would place the date of this picture at 1927 or 1928.

Thank you again for sharing this beautiful picture of your Aunt Flo with your WikiTree family.

God Bless!

Great photo, thanks for sharing.

I'm going to say 20's.  I met a 2nd cousin who had a HUGE box of family photos for our shared family.  MOST of them were from the 20's, happy faces, they looked well fed, dressed nicely.  And then the depression.  The photos just stop.  Every year or two, a family group photo, but few individual portraits, no family snapshots, no pics out in the garden.  Who could afford the Kodak development when no one had a job.  I also noticed that the smiles seemed not as bright, they often looked tired like they were overworked or underfed.  Looking at the 20's pics vs. the 30's pics was like night and day.

This doesn't look like a 30's pic to me.

She is a pretty woman with a beautiful smile and yes every picture she is dressed very well. Does she have red hair?

Now looking at the picture itself, I would say it was 1920's. The quality of the film was not quite clear. Something that George Eastman had yet perfected. The  Great Depression occurred in the 1930's throughout much of the world. It hit greatly in the US. Most of the country was turned into a world of much less if anything at all. Thanks for sharing the photograph with us.
