Question

I wanted to share this family photo of Edmund O'Leary and his baby sister, Blanche O'Leary Sojat. Blanche was my wife's mother. Four generations of O'Leary's lived and worked on the family dairy ranch on Cannibal Island Road in Loleta California from 1874 to 2002. Edmund lived to age 79 and died in Eureka California in 2002. Blanche lived to age 83. She died in Los Alamitos California in 2009.

Location: Loleta California. Date: 1926.

Wonderful photo. Took only a few years to move from stiff unsmiling faces to Edmund’s expressive face. I see he’s a WWII vet. He deserves more recognition.

Such a beautiful picture.  Edmund is taking his job of holding his little sister secure in this photo, especially being up high with no leg leverage.  They are both such beautiful children.  It is wonderful you have this photo, thank you so much for sharing.
