Will the tag Australia give me all posts relating to sub projects?

Now that we have the Australia project, with a range of sub projects such as anzacs, bushrangers, explorers, convicts and first settlers, is it possible just to follow the australia tag and get posts relating to all the projects?

Looking to try and consolidate my feed!

I really envisaged the Australia Project as the place to discuss common themes across the various sub-projects, such as the discussion on categories currently going on in the googlegroups feed. I can see that many people will have a narrow focus on projects and would prefer to have just what is pertinent to them. Adding tags (a Veronica has done for this question) for the various sub-projects can enable those following their appropriate Tag/s to see what is intended for their eyes.

I would like it to be a place for suggestions for new sub-projects as well. It arose because I found myself discussing matters in (say) the convicts project which really had no place in that project. So I thought we needd a sort of central registry to co-ordinate all the efforts and avoid treading on each others toes.

I was looking for a way to reduce the number of tags I was following.  I still wanted to follow surnames and other wiki projects.  I totally agree with the rationale for the Australia project and the google groups.

I was hoping for a way to reduce the number of tags I am following.

If all the Australia sub projects included the Australia tag on g2g that would enable us all to receive updates on all Australian projects without having to subscribe to 5 and potentially more sub project tags.
