How to delete one of two Howard-5981s?--merge doesn't work

Howard-6354 was meged into Howard-5981 on 14 Apr 2014 (See Howard-5981 "changes" tab). Somehow, both profiles are shown as the wives of James Archivald Peterson-3064 (that's a known bug).

To remove Howard-6354 (the profile doesn't exist because it was merged away) as the wife of James Archivald, on "edit" mode look for the link "add/remove spouse" in the "Spouses" section in the column at the right hand side of the page. You'll get this page. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page, tick Mary Howard (Howard-6354) and click on the big green button "REMOVE SPOUSE OF JAMES ARCHIVALD PETERSON".

There really is only one.  Her husband's profile shows two wives named Mary, the other one being Howard-6354.  If you click that one, it redirects to Howard-5981 because they were merged at some time in the past.  If you remove James's extra spouse Howard-6354, the problem should disappear.

Hi Roger, I’m not sure what the problem is. each person has a unique profile number, therefore Howard-5981 is one of the two Mary’s you are proposing to merge, can you let us know the other number so we can see what the problem is.
