Ukrainian genealogy database

I found this Ukrainian genealogy database for individuals born between 1650-1920, which could be invaluable to anyone doing Ukrainian genealogy. You do have to register (for free) and then you can do a search. Try the Cyrillic version of the name -- Емельяненко instead of Emelianenko -- and the search function should work.

Thank you for offering the information. I am sure members of Ukrainian descent will find it useful. Every bit of information and site  brought to WikiTree makes things easier for members and makes WT better.
Is there anywhere I can go to translate the English spelling of my Ukrainian ancestors' names into Cyrilllic?

Most useful for people from in or near the big population centers, I think. Places like Kiev and the big eastern cities look well represented. Sadly, I found nothing on my family. Hopefully this will get better over time.
