Beautiful photo. Looks like the Mutt and Jeff book has been passed around a bit, right? Must have taken a good amount of time to get the kids ready for  the shot: all of them have perfect hair!

Thanks for sharing this with us, Cheryl.

Four beautiful precious children. All well dressed. How did they get to keep four siblings to remain so pleasant, quiet and still, long enough to take a picture. Can you show me how to do that with two adult children? HAHAHA Thanks for sharing your family with us.

Great comment. I have three daughters and could barely get them out the door - dressed with clean faces and brushed teeth.  I wouldn't have been able to pull this off either. lol
LOL I totally understand.

I love the Mills children reading Mutt & Jeff together. The children are lovely, all dressed in their Sunday best. Their hair is adorable. So cute that they are all sitting, and they are reading so nicely together.

If you were to go by the reading material to date this picture - that would be a difficult task. Mutt & Jeff was first created in 1906 by Bud Fisher and is actually considered the first comic strip. Al Smith took over for Bud, and George Breisacher was the final author, ending the long life of this comic strip in 1983.

With Alyce being born in 1919 (3), Georgia in 1911 (11), Sydney in 1916(6) and Bette in 1910 (12), this picture could have been taken in 1922, but they just don't look their ages.  This one really has me off kilter.

But it is very cute, and the chair is amazing. I love their dresses and Sydney's suit with his little handkerchief in his pocket.

Their mother dressed this kids very well.

Thank you for sharing this picture with your WikiTree family.

Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Thank you! The two young girls are actually fraternal twins born in 1919. I love all the little details too. Its nice to see that others notice those little touches too.
Cheryl - I love how you comment on these photos.  They are always very insightful.
Thank you Nicole - you are just the sweetest thing.

Merry Christmas!
Cheryl, thank you for letting me know about them being fraternal twins. They looked so much alike, I just couldn't believe they were too far apart in age.
