Sharing sources for Chandler genealogy

I am a researcher for the Chandler Family Association (CFA). At 111 markers I am accepted as a participant of Group 7A of their Y-Chromosome Project. Haven't found the Non-Paternal Event (NPE) but hope to -- eventually. The current research is for a gentleman who has submitted his DNA to our Y-Chromosome Project. His family's migration route goes back to SC. But where in SC we don't know yet. His DNA test results will help narrow that down. In the meantime the information I am collecting may be helpful to others researching Chandler. Sources such as census info and probate indexes, etc. How do I share that here?

I was going to suggest a link to your research on the Chandler One Name Study, unfortunately, there isn't a study! I am surprised. Perhaps you can start one. A One Name Study can encompass as much or as little as you like.

I think that could be a good idea, yes. To post to particular profiles or create new ones would be more time consuming. And I was actually wondering if on Wiki Tree there was some kind of General Genealogy Source page where it would not necessarily be limited to One Surname but just general information such as what exactly is found in a particular microfilm title at Family Search such as in Probate Records for particular counties. Sometimes the titles can be misleading. Or even for the surname Chandler in which counties of which circuit court districts in SC can Chandlers (or variations such as Candlers, Chandleys, etc) be found in the 1790 census (which I'm going through page by page at Ancestry). Also looking for any Jernigans (Jarnigans, Jernegans, Journigans, etc) while I'm at it and noting counties/parishes where they are found in the same census. I could probably submit that to the Jernigan One-Name Study (if there is one). Thanks for the suggestion. I was also searching for the surname Clark where I find Chandlers as this research has shown there IS a family connection and it was probably in South Carolina. Perhaps I could submit THAT info to the Clark One-Name Study and any other surnames in general I come across or research repeat that same process. Yes, I think that could work. Thank you.

Well, you could create profiles for individuals for whom he has found data.

Or you could create a free-space profile, post the information on that new page, add tags to the page for the name Chandler, and link to the page from this G2G thread.
