 This is the Sandringham Strollers chat for the 2019 Scan-a-Thon we are a wonderful team with amazing people. Appreciate, each of you for being part of our team. I am very excited to "work" with you all to scan and add your treasures to the tree enhancing history with scanned photos and documents. Lets's have fun and show the world who our family is/was.

I uploaded my first image and it din't come up with screen with Green Button for tracking.  Oh well, the mausoleum where my father's crypt is now is on his profile.  Now to try the crypt photo

Looks like I  have uploaded 30 odd photos to profiles with connections to privacy locked profiles and that blocked them from counting, my apologies.

Thank you for the work done today and the brilliant work of Lesley that has moved us up in the field of teams. Guess she has a treasure trove of ancestral materials

Do you think "Great Lakes" might run out of scans/images to upload ... not much difference  :-)

Nothing planned today but don't think I'll get as many on tomorrow (... although enough to go on for days!!! ... I'll just save them for our next time (... hopefuly in the not too distant future???) ... for our next ScanAThon challenge)

Maybe another hour-ish before I log off today ... and still time tomorrow  ;-)

I'm not going to run out!!!  (... time maybe ... not scans!)

I have a few images to upload for people that are not related to me and do not have profiles yet on WikiTree. Are these images OK to upload once I've created their profile? I have their names and some details about each person, so will be able to write a short bio with each image.

I did some finding photos to load.  I have a lot of tomb stones and have those ready to go.  So many of them are from the 1800's and 1900s that are in the 18th and 19th centuries.  

Like Carol, I may have to create profiles to add them.. I hate to make floating profiles that are in the not-connected category
 

My backpack fell out of the car because the door wasn't closed.  Screen was broken so I am working my projector displaying of the wall.  Hope no one minds be being on the team be I am not in England.  Janet asked me so here I am..  one of my g;-gf's', Joseph John Bond was from Liverpool. For some reason he changed is name to Dodd.  So I am a third generation English immigrant.  I am second generation Scottish. (My maternal GM).

I've now completed uploading everything that I have for my family, and have reached 94 images. Those that I now have left are for non family members that do not have profiles yet, which will be very slow going as they all need to be researched. My aim to start with was 100 uploads, so I've only 6 to go.

Keep going everyone, we are doing really well.

We just moved up a place to sixth now chasing the Windsor Warriors.  This adding profiles to add potographs to take time up. I know Carol is creating new profiles as well any one else having to do this?

Hello everyone, I've been cropping and getting the file sizes down - now to upload a few. I found a photo of Lord Odo Russell in an old album but I have absolutely no idea why he is in there....  It is uploaded now since there was an existing wikitree profile for him. The rest will be family members near and distant.

We have an amazing 809 contributions and are 8th place. This is great we have made a difference, we have helped to bring the ancestors back to life a little and brightened our history in the tree

Nor'Easters stopping by to congratulate all those that participated in the SCAT. Many photos, documents, gravesites, etc have been added to profiles making them much more informative to view.
