Relationships to Presidents 20+

Question

When using the relationship finder  I am related to over 20 presidents.  Is that strange?

I used the Relationship Finder and only got three Presidents that I'm related to.

I get only 7 that I'm NOT related to so I think that's normal...

On a related note: Is there a way to program Relationship Finder to check for a relationship with all presidents at once? (Instead of one at a time).

I know that several year ago a "free space page" was put together that allowed you to check all the presidents at once.   I will see if I can find it.

Well... 39 of the 45 for me. (All distantish cousins) and not that there is any desire to related to some of them. I keep track on this

I found 2 that I'm not related to and found that if I wasn't related to the president I was related to his wife and some I'm related to president on one side of family and his wife on other like if president was on my dad's side I was related to his wife on my mom's side

Be very careful about Relationship Finder results to US Presidents. Unless the lineage from you to the common ancestor (or the President if a direct descendant) and from the President to the common ancestor are all marked Confident, then you've got a lot of research to do before confirming the relationship. Unfortunately a lot of false lineages to Presidents have been entered into WikiTree.

The US Presidents project is working to verify the lineages in WikiTree as many of these profiles were entered before the system had the ability to mark something as Confident or Uncertain. Verification includes checking that primary source documentation is in place and valid.

I sure common ancestors with 39 of the 46th president I thought that was odd also but apparently I got lucky. Now that I have that information I'm wondering what I can do with it.
