Where can I go next to trace the Tilliduffs?

I've tried so very hard on this brick wall without success. My great-grandmother was Eliza Tilliduff, and her great-grandfather was Robert Tilliduff who died in London in 1809. I know nothing else about him apart from that he was a cordwainer. I have the births of his last three children in the City of London between 1795 and 1799. There were two previous children for whom I have no births although they appear on the IGI. I cannot find any other Tilliduffs/Tillyduffs between then and the birth of Margaret Tillidaff in 1646 in Ellon. The name Tillyduff/Tillydaff can be found from 14th century in Aberdeen where they were first of all burghers and later cordwainers. I have tried both Guildhall Library, who checked to see if he was working as a cordwainer in the City and if he was married there, and Met. Archives (in the Cordwainers Guild and death and marriage records) for more about Robert with no success.   All the Tilliduffs on Family Search and in the English censuses are descended from Robert.

Has anybody any ideas where to go next please?

I've found five Til???uff baptisms which appear to be in the gap years you mention on FindMyPast using the surname with a wildcard "Til*f".  If you don't have access to try this let me know and I can search for you.  Here's one of them...

Many thanks for looking.  I have these 5.  This Joseph, the father, is a son of Robert born 9th Nov 1788 although I have not found his birth. The date and the vague place of birth of London was provided by a "professional" researcher who a family member employed 40 years ago.  No sources were quoted.  But I am comfortable that I can place all the London Tilliduffs apart from Robert and his wife Lidia or Lydia.

I found a bunch on FamilySearch.org (https://familysearch.org/tree/find/name?view=find&tab=name&search=1&self=%1Ftilliduff%1F0%1F0&_=1475429711435) using a simple search on the last name.

"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," database,FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JS1P-TZ1 : 6 December 2014), John Robert Tilliduff, 11 Jun 1820; citing , reference ; FHL microfilm 374,460, 374,461.

Many thanks Jeff, I have now done a One-Name-Study on them and do believe that I have located every mention of the name that is available.

Again thank you for looking.
