Been a long day and my eyes are getting tired from trying to read on-screen type thats been getting harder to read. So I'm asking if anyone knows anything about an infants tomb at Copp's Hill Burying Ground in Boston? Gathering info on one of a 3g grandfathers sons who died as an infant. An index set at Ancestry.com, "Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records 1620 - 1988" lists the child and gives his place of interment as "C. Hill, N. G., Infants Tomb". I take this to be Copp's Hill, New Ground as suggested by a list of cemeteries at the beginning of the index. But I have yet to find mention of the Infant's Tomb in any descriptions of the cemetery on the web. Perhaps it is no longer identifiable, or was just an area of the Burying Ground, and never actually had a "tomb" structure.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this cemetery and this "tomb", and could direct me to a source on the web. Little George was 8 when he died in 1833, probably from dysentery. The entry in the index appears to be the only real acknowledgement of his existence, so i'm trying to add a little more before I create a profile for him. I figure this is a long shot, so if no bells are rung or mental lightbulbs blink on, its not a problem, don't worry about it, but thank you for your considerations.
