How to ask for trusted list access

I understand the mechanics of how to ask for trusted list access. I am wondering if anyone has a typical format they use when they are trying to match GEDCOM entries with other entries which are private. There is often no way to make the determination without having the trusted list access especaily when the other party's entire tree is private.

I have been asking for trusted list access and giving them the information that I have on the person in question. Does anyone have verbiage (a template?) that might be more useful or fruitful? Thanks!

I'm aware of that and I have had to do it once before. However, when I'm working through a large GEDCOM compare with tons of suggestions I was hoping somenoe would have a typical request they send out for the trusted list.

As it is, I can either mark rejected and move on so I can do what I need to do as far as Adds, etc., but otherwise I have to keep track of each comparison for which I have already requested trusted list access and wait some time for a reply before submitting an unresponsive profile manager form. I think of that as a last resort I guess (maybe I shouldn't).

So I'm looking for example or commonly successful text that some people are using. But thanks for the link all the same. :-)

When I run into a possible match with an unlisted profile, unless I have really good reason to believe it might be the person I am interested in, I simply ignore it. Just mark it as a rejected match and move on. Especially if the name is a relatively common one.

If you have serious concerns that this might be a match to one of your family tree, then you can file an Unresponsive Profile Manager Request Form, as I believe you said you have done before.

But if you have a very large gedcom you are processing, it doesn't make sense to check out every Unlisted match.
