Hi,

I'm looking for any source information for Valentine Peter Fykes/Fikes. I think there may be some confusion between Peter Fikes, father of Daniel, John & Henry that settled in the Mohawk Valley, New York about 1750  and became Loyalists and Valentine Peter Fickes that settled in Pennsylvania around the same time frame.

Thank you, Dee Bekman

Thank you!

I've requested to remove son Henry Fickes from Valentine Peter Fickes and merge him with Henry Fikes. The Henry Fikes b abt 1750 that married Sarah Runions Gallinger was a Loyalist during the Revolution and died 1783, Charleton Island, New York. Sarah recieved a UE land grant based on Henry's Loyalist service.
